Phil Cook joined the company in 2013. Phil is responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly financials, managing airport and marina accounting software and ensuring procedures and financial controls are followed. Phil works closely with clients on a monthly customized financial package to suit their specific needs. In addition Phil regularly evaluates systems to ensure continual improvement of aviation and marina operations. He coordinates with all aviation and marina managers on their yearly budget and monthly budget versus actual analysis. Phil oversees aviation and marinas’ payables, receivables, banking and treasury management.
Prior to joining the company, Phil worked as an accounting supervisor at Charleston|Orwig, a full service marketing and advertising agency focused on food system client reputation management and marketing integration. His responsibilities included further implementation of a new system for the company and training employees on its functions. He was also instrumental in the improvement and utilization of the new system’s reporting to create the overall financial package
for the ownership group.
Phil graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Accounting and Sports Management and is a current Certified Public Accountant candidate.
