This weekend the new Flamingo marina was inaugurated, a project that seeks to attract tourism, generate jobs and reactivate the canton of Santa Cruz.
According to the promoter of the marina, Joaquín Gamboa, the project was carried out under the highest standards and focused on environmental safety through alliances.
Working alongside other organizations, the navy promoted education and employment in the area in order to train marina personnel. Gamboa commented that this work seeks to provide a first-world service in Guanacaste.
This is only the first phase of a complex that will attract tourism and foreign investment. The project was awarded in a 35-year concession, operated by F3 Marina Management.
